I've created a monster.

Yesterday Preston randomly decided he wanted to sit in a regular chair for his snacktime. I allowed it. Tonight, when I attempted to hoist him into his high chair for dinner, he made it quite clear that this was no longer an option for him. He now sits only in big-people chairs, thank you very much.
What have I done?...
Of course our one booster seat is up at the cottage, so I'll be checking Craigslist tonight to see if I can find another. For now, this is what it looks like when an 18 month old insists on sitting in a big-person chair:
poor picture quality here, but you get the idea.

after a readjustment.

"more."

A word about "more":
This has clearly become Preston's favorite way of expressing his needs. Well, maybe it's a tie between "more" and "no." During Facetime conversations with the family Preston will often ask for more... I'm usually not sure what he means. More Grandpa? More Uncle Mike? Who knows. But when he sees the cat or dog on Facetime, he will continue to insist for "more" numerous times, until he has watched them each for several minutes.
Another fun example of the word "more" is when Preston is on the potty. He has now gotten in the habit of keeping me posted throughout the pooping process on whether there is "more" to come. Tonight he paused to inform me atleast 4 times that there was "more" on its way. And he was right. Each time. Smart kid.
