This was the first year we did Easter egg hunting with Preston, and it was well worth it. In preparation for Easter, we spent the past few weeks reading and re-reading his 2 Easter books. And we did a trial run egg-hunt that one of the local high schools put on last weekend.
Saturday we did Easter dinner in Ithaca with Gigi, Oompah, and Great-Gross-poppy (auf deutch, and which Preston enunciated perfectly I might add). The day also involved tractor riding and Preston's 1st official Easter egg hunt.
Today, the egg-hunting continued, both indoors and outdoors. (A lot of egg-hunting, I know. But I guess the Easter Bunny just appreciated the deviation from the usual Sunday routine.)
Of note, the Easter Bunny learned that once you find an egg with actual candy in it, all the other eggs with stickers and animals crackers in them are incredibly disappointing.
I did find it very entertaining to watch Preston in his Easter egg quests. So, prepare yourself for an abundance of egg-hunting pictures and videos.
*Also, it appears the iPhone blogger app also likes to re-arrange photos from the order that I uploaded them. And I can't figure out how to re-arrange them now that I'm on the PC, nor do I have the time, so apologies as the following pics are completely out of order.

Disney is postponed for another day...
Apologies for the lack of posts this month. The fact is, i think every spare moment in March was spent preparing for this moment, our Disney vacation.
