A video montage

Two weekends ago, we headed to Vermont for a wedding and left Preston at home with Grandma E, for what would be his very first night without me since he was born. As I backed the car out of the driveway and watched him standing at the door waving, I was concerned I might be overwhelmed by the emotion of leaving my child. Instead, I felt more like this:
Obviously, disregard what is actually taking place during this clip....
Grandma E and the P-man fared very well for the 2 day, 1 night departure. Preston napped on schedule, slept through the night, and even told Grandma on both days when he had to poop. Grandma captured the following clip of Preston enjoying his train set (the inscribed "P-man Express" courtesy of Uncle Mike not visible):
This video illustrates both Preston's exceptional fine motor skills, and propensity for using the word "no."

The following is another rather anticlimactic video of Preston trying out some new tricks on Mr Dino, and subsequently indicating that he has to poop. I'm considering showing this video to his new daycare teachers, since it seems to me like it's pretty obvious when the kid has to go. Despite pooping in the potty all summer with very few accidents, now that Preston is back in daycare it looks as though we might lose it all....
Pretty obvious, right??
