2 word sentences!

It didn't even occur to me until today that Preston has been saying the following 2 phrases all week:
1. "A bike." and...
2. "I go."
I think "a bike" really means "my bike." Whenever we pull in the driveway now it's the first thing he does; starts yelling "a bike!" and runs over to the shed pointing for me to get it out.
"I go" means just that...yesterday I left the basement door open when I was doing chores while Preston was napping, and of course the first thing he did when he got up was run out to the kitchen and spot the open door. I was down the hall when I heard him shouting "I go! I go!" And there he was, standing at the the top of the stairs, announcing that he was about to go down them. And, yes, I had a mini-heart attack.
But the important part here is that he is starting to use 2-word sentences....

And now, more evidence of Preston's love of hats:
This was not staged. I put him on the changing table after his bath and he spotted his hat across the room, and insisted I retrieve it, so that he could wear it.

And then proceeded to run around half-dressed with his hat on, doing anything and everything to postpone the inevitable teeth-brushing and bedtime.
