Preston's language development has been a little slow to progress (not that anyone is judging), but for about 2 months (maybe 3?), it's been the same 3 words; "mum," "da," (self-explanatory) and "dah," (dog, or that.) So I guess technically four words, since there is some differentiation between dog and that. I thought we were working strongly on cat (thanks to Gracie, and a few books), but out of nowhere, came "baby."
I think he mostly likes babbling the word since he doesn't seem to be referring to anything in particular, but whatever. I'm counting it as a new word.
Preston enjoyed Easter Sunday at Grandma and Grandpa E's, where he prefers to spend most of his time walking up and down the handicap-accessible ramp connecting the front foyer to the living room (not pictured), and playing with Gracie.

Not to give a cat too much credit, but Gracie seems to have some sense that Preston is a baby, and she should be gentle. She seems to enjoy interacting with him and hangs around despite the fact that she is likely to get poked and prodded by a 15-month-old giant baby. Fortunately for her though, Preston is quite gentle with animals at this point, (but we've got a long way to go.)
